Samburu guest house

Samburu guest house is a 2 star budget accommodation found in Maralal town along Nyahururu- maralal road opposite maralal police station close to Kenya wildlife services and  Samburu national park Kenya region. The guesthouse is situated northwest of Koindogo overlooking the spectacular views all around the guesthouse. You can be the lodge by road transport which takes approximately   5-6 hours’ drive   from Nairobi to  guesthouse and  an hour flight  from Nairobi to the close Samburu  airstrip  then few minutes to be transferred  to the airstrip. The guesthouse is convenient and business friendly to luxury tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of the surrounding areas.

Samburu Guest house consists of over 5 comfortable and spacious en suite rooms overlooking the serene environment reflect the local building style with grass thatched roofs and comfort. Rooms are well furnished with private en –suite  facilities  of Clean flushing toilets ,  separate showers , mosquito nets,  wooden chairs and tables , complementary bottled water  , solar energy, free toiletries to mention but a few.

Rooms have balconies, roof top terraces and sitting areas, you relax while enjoying the stunning view over the beautiful gardens wildlife especially crocodiles adventure and surrounding areas. Rooms are equipped with excellent and comfortable clean beddings with king and queen sized bed to thrill while on Kenya Safaris Tour.  There is campfire pit at the camp where guests sit and relax as they share experienced about the safari and it also provides warmth to visitors during nights at the lodges. Rooms  are in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double beds twin and triple/ family tents   and rooms cost 200$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate)

Samburu national park is among the less known parks and smallest park found in the northern part near Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya in Samburu country .The park occupies the total area of 165square kilometers and 345 km from Nairobi.

Samburu country is found in the former rift valley of Kenya.  The park is the home of various animals over  200 mammals like; Giraffes, Buffaloes , Elephants , Big cats,  leopards, lions , zebras Warthogs , olive baboons  etc  and  390 species of birds  which include; Sun birds , bee –eaters ,  sunbirds, Tawny Eagles , Grey headed kingfisher , Yellow-billed hornbill and many more birds. Samburu are sub tribe of the masaai , they are Nilotic people of North –central Kenya.
