Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater.
On the first day of your 5 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari, your safari driver will pick you up from your Hotel in Arusha and brief you about the safari and then proceed on your safari, with picnic lunch en route to a full day Ngorongoro Crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending and drive to your Lodge set on a crater rim. Pick up from your hotel or lodge after breakfast and then drive to Serengeti North for a half day game drive in this part of the park to view the great migration. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch after you will proceed for the afternoon game drive.
The park is renowned for its diverse resident wildlife population, especially the “big five,” which get their name from the five most valuable hunting trophies: Lion: Because there are so many different kinds of prey available, it’s said that the Serengeti has the greatest concentration of lions in Africa. There are almost 3,000 lions in this ecosystem. African Leopard: With a population estimated at 1,000, these elusive predators are found throughout the national park, although they are most frequently spotted in Seronera region. Elephant in Africa. After you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the hotel or lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park (North Mara).
On the 3rd day of your 5 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari, after breakfast at the lodge or hotel, depart with your picnic lunch for a game drive and to view the great migration. Serengeti national Park Resident wildlife numbers are extremely high in the Wagakuria area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however from August to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. Depart after breakfast for a morning game drive. In the afternoon we will drive back to Arusha for flight back home.
