Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu
Your 6 Days Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari starts with pick up from your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport upon arrival and transfer to Samburu National Reserve. The drive will take about 6 to 7 hours. The drive offers you diverse views ranging from the raw countryside, the central highlands of Kenya, the equator line and magnificent views of Mt. Kenya.
Arrive in Samburu National Reserve by lunch time, check in at your lodge and enjoy your meals and short rest. In the afternoon you will go for your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, return at around 6 pm for freshening up, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu
Wake up early for breakfast and head out for a morning game drive. This is the best time to see animals in Samburu National Reserve and a good chance to witness a hunt or a kill. Return to your lodge for a break and relax for a while and after lunch, depart on an afternoon drive around 3:00 pm till around 6:00 pm. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Samburu to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, check oout of your lodge and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park which is about 5 hours drive from Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and later, go for an afternoon game drive on which you will visit Lake Nakuru for sightings of flamingoes and other water bird species.
During the game drive, you will also see herds of buffaloes, rhinos, zebras. Giraffes and other wildlife species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Nakuru to Masai Mara
Start your day early with breakfast at your lodge, later check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. It is a journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours arriving in time for lunch at your lodge after checking. In the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive searching for several wildlife species calling Masai Mara National Reserve home. After sunset, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Masai Mara
Today’s itinerary is very flexible, you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for your schedule. You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full day game drive at around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to the lodge late in the afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 06:00 AM on an early morning game drive. This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt of a kill.
Later return to the lodge for breakfast and relax for a bit and then depart for an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. You will have a stop at a picnic spot to enjoy your packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed (06:00pm), return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : Masai Mara to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast, embark on a journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
