How to get to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Maasai Mara can be reached by the use of road or flight means of transport to reach inside the park.
By Flight or Air transportation.
Maasai Mara National Reserve can be accessed by the use of domestic flight, the favourite route for Maasai Mara flight is flying from Nairobi Wilson Airport, in their it is a short distance (between 45 and 60 minutes) time and flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Flight is recommended as amode means of transportation to the park.
By Road transportation.
By far the most popular mode of transport from Nairobi to Maasai Mara is by road. The road is currently tarred all the way from Nairobi to Maasai Mara (Sekanani Gate). The distance varies from 225km (140 miles) to275 km (170 miles) depending on which gate or entry point to Maasai Mara you want to access.
